Description: Roland Young stars as Fotheringay, a man soon bestowed upon him great powers by the gods themselves in this comedic fantasy based on the moral tale by the great H.G. Wells. A simple man with basic human needs and vices. Fotheringay first uses his newfound abilities to entertain and benefit his smaller ordinary world. But upon meeting other members of the community he soon realizes the bigger picture in which he is now able to control. Inexperienced in his ways, this brings him much confusion and his abilities to perform extraordinary miracles for the world at large only complicates his existence much further giving way to the more sinister elements within him.
